Muscle Memory - Ski Specific Training

 

 

We have developed a leg and core workout that is designed specifically for getting ready for the upcoming season. This workout is not intended for beginners to exercise and we strongly recommend that you work with a certified trainer.

 

Part 1

 

   
 

 

 

Warm-up 10 minutes of light to moderate intensity on a bike

 

Hurdle cross-over - reps 45 seconds

 

Description: Begin in a squat position, push off with outside leg while stepping over first hurdle with inside leg. Cross-over hurdles until end, re-load on outside leg and repeat for 45 seconds.

 

Lateral box jump - reps 45 seconds

 

Description: With weight evenly distributed on both legs, squat then jump up and on-top of box. Squat on-top of box then jump off other side and repeat for 45 seconds

 

Lateral Bounding - reps 45 seconds

 

Description: Using 2 bosu's or on a flat surface hop from one leg to the other. When landing bend knee into a half squat and repeat for 45 seconds
